Food & Beverage Development Fund

Funding applications now open for training from January 2019

The Food and Beverage Development Fund wants to help dedicated people realise their aspirations and achieve their full potential. We provide financial support to help individuals to further their skills and knowledge through training, education and/or research within South Australia's critically important food & beverage industries. Applications are accepted from individuals intending to study, apprentices or trainees, post secondary students, university students and research students. 

The Food & Beverage Development Fund is proud to be able to support the learning of individuals in the baking, beverage, food processing and meat industry sectors and provide between $1,000 and $10,000 to each successful applicant based on the needs of the individual and the level of support required. 

Applicants for scholarships must:

  • be Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia
  • be committed to research or study in a food and/or beverage industry related area
  • be prepared to attend interviews as required
  • agree to abide by the decision of the Food and Beverage Development Fund SA Inc in relation to their application. 

Completed applications should include:

  • support payment application form
  • evidence of anticipated costs
  • current resume
  • additional information (if necessary)

Applications will be assessed from information provided in application submissions. Finalists will be invited to attend an interview with the Food & Beverage Development Fund selection panel. Successful Support Payment Applications will be determined by Food & Beverage Development Fund Board and offered to individuals based on application information, interview and their commitment to furthering their skill and knowledge within the industry.
